WindRider Technologies Switches to PerfectDisk

Award-winning defragmenter replaces Diskeeper® on Microsoft® partner’s high-end computers

Raxco Software, the worldwide leader in disk defragmentation software, announced today that its award-winning PerfectDisk has been chosen by WindRider Technologies to replace Diskeeper^® on all computers WindRider manufactures. WindRider is a Microsoft^® Partner and Intel Dealer specializing in computer systems for people who need powerful computing solutions that fit their unique needs.

With the latest release of Diskeeper, WindRider found that it lacked a solution that provides its users with control over their defragmentation needs. In particular, Diskeeper’s inability to allow users to schedule when to defragment their drives, its multi-pass strategy that does not consolidate free space well, and its requirement for large amounts of free space to work were driving factors in WindRider’s decision. WindRider maintains a large, high-profile client list, including Cisco Systems, Deutsche Bank, Oppenheimer & Co, Northrop Grumman, the US Air Force and many more.
