PerfectDisk® Helps Insight Automation Materials handling solution company boosts productivity with leading disk defragmenter Raxco Software, the leader in disk defragmentation software, announced today that Kentucky-based Insight Automation, has selected PefectDisk to eliminate its sluggish computer performance and improve employee productivity. Insight Automation is just one of the hundreds of small businesses that have purchased PerfectDisk in February. The 25-person staff at Insight Automation includes engineers who design material handling solutions for a wide range of industrial markets and whose customers include companies such as Tommy Hilfiger. The engineers use several programming packages, including Visual Basic, SQL, AutoCad, and third-party software. Because much of the software is memory intensive and disks were close to full, the Windows built in defragmenter performed very slowly, interfered with the staff’s work, and did not defragment drives effectively. Indeed, when drives reached 85% full, the Windows built-in defragmenter would not even work.
