Intruder Alert augments the security that is inherent in OpenVMS. The software does not seek to replace security features built into OpenVMS, but rather adds security to existing areas not protected by the current operating system. includes specifying monitoring criteria and corresponding responsive actions.
Provides intrusion detection.
Provides real-time intrusion detection software, which addresses security problems as they occur. It also allows real-time monitoring of any or all of the following system components:
- OpenVMS security alarms
- ITA system error messages
- ITA system commands
- ITA system status messages
Takes a specific action in response to a specific detection.
Enables administrators to take a specific action in response to a specific security alarm, system command, or system message. Responses can be tailored to any or all detections, and may consist of:
